All Pros, no Cons

The amazing view from the balcony blew me away. The outdoor jacuzzi and saunas were a wonderful way to unwind after a day of skiing.

Location: the hotel was near to touristy Zermatt and boats. Found a place called Restaurant Spycher, set near the property, ate there a few times. We got varied and extensive hot chocolate, croissants, yogurt, fruit and eggs for breakfast.

Everything was nice, stunning location near shops, train station, restaurants, bars, Sunnega lift, and the Furi/Klein Matterhorn cable car or Gondola, very lovely experience. I had the deluxe double room which was good sized with balcony with wonderful view of the matterhorn. The staff were amicable and efficient and an absolute pleasure. No complaint, I really enjoyed this place, do recommend.

The hotel offered stunning views of the Matterhorn, and the hot tub was a good spot to unwind. The staff seemed a bit reserved, lacking warmth in their hospitality. It was a pleasant stay, though a few personal touches would elevate the experience.

Very comfortable. Our rooms had amenities we wanted--seating area, balcony, view of the Matterhorn, and a hot water kettle. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Breakfast setting and variety of foods made it a delightful way to start the day. Very quiet.

It's location in the town made it a little cumbersome getting to and from the slopes with ski equipment.

Our stay was lovely! The hot tub with stunning Matterhorn views was the highlight, and enjoying breakfast on the balcony was absolute bliss, though we could've used an iron in the room.

Totally really nice stay at Ambience. Location near to the slopes in the heart of Zermatt and the restaurant. For shots visit Papperla Pub, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

breakbast buffet ok but not as the level of an hotel charging CHF +400 a night. Some hotel staff not speaking very good english or french

The Matterhorn view from our balcony was amazing! We enjoyed cozy evenings there, but the evening reception staff could've been more helpful. A lovely stay 😊

Staffs are friendly. Room is clean and quiet. Very nice view from the balcony.

1) Restaurant at the hotel had only one menu and no choice (choice is to have a dinner at the restaurant or going out). We had a dinner one night and food was goood. If they provide several choices (for example, 5 course dinner was their standard, but provide 4 course, 3 course), that would be much better !! 2) For skiing, the hotel location was not good. it took 10 minutes' walk to the bus stop.

The serene view from my balcony was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day exploring with family with children.

Hotel was nice and clean. Walking distance to the main shopping location in Zermatt. Breakfast was simple but nice. THe Matterhorn view from our room was excellent!
